Mike Hendry carded -1 71 on a tough scoring day in the 3rd round of the NZPGA Championship, held at Clearwater today.

Hendry who has been the Institute of Golf’s leading money winner and was the winner of the NZPGA OOM for 2009 started his campaign off with a even par 72 then 74 and with his round today climbes inside the top 20.

Dominic Barson who was sitting at the top of igolf’s tour players after 2 rounds shot a +4 round of 76 today in the rough conditions to be in a tie for 31st.

Dale Clarke who was the leading igolf rep after one round shot a +2 74 to be in a tie for 38th, with Hamish Robertson another igolf tour professional.
